[R] rbind and data.frame [simplified]

Oh. Yes, replacing [<-.data.frame with [[<-.data.frame is not going to
work... 

Suppose you precede that with dat.out <- unclass(dat.out) ?
(and end with dat.out <- as.data.frame(dat.out))
