[R] GUI support from R

The event loop is integrated using the AddInputHandler()
mechanism. And I intend to apply the code I have to work under Windows
which I didn't get to commit several months ago and have returned to
yet.  So it is much the same way that ggobi behaves.  This is a native
R-C binding using R's external pointer mechanism.

Any suggestions for different approaches are very welcome.  Otherwise
it will be similar to (but more specific than) the work I did about 5
years ago on a general interface to the X window system.
