[R] Problems with trying to print 'refman.pdf'

I don't.  Did you make the file yourself or get it from some distribution?
Either the system on which it was made or yours is broken (and you have
told us far too little about how you are viewing or converting it to PS
for me to guess).

Specifically, the file refman.pdf in the Windows 1.3.0 distribution views
and prints correctly to our LJ8000 using Acrobat 4.05 and 5.0 under
Windows 2000.
