Check debian's unstable collection for the packages you desire. You
may need to move to unstable to use the latest R, or at least upgrade
some parts of your stable system manually.
Be aware that unstable tends to be just that and it's not a move to
take lightly. It would be nicer if someone would build a package of
the latest R against debian-stable if possible and put that in CRAN.
(I can't as my statistics machines don't run debian any more.
Besides, I hate building debs.)
