[R] updating LinuxPPC installation

I have R-1.01 installed on my Mac running LinuxPPC.

I updated previously by connecting directly to CRAN I think, and all my base
and packages were updated after prompts ("You have R-base 0.96 installed.
Update R-base to 1.01? Y/N" ...).

Now I want to do this again, but can't find the command to use in the FAQs
etc. Can someone suggest it?
