[R] R from CGI script.

Hello everybody.

I'm having some troubles with using R from a CGI script.

What I do is, from perl, call a simple

system("$Rprogram < $Rcode > $Rdumpfile");

$Rprogram, $Rcode and $Rdumpfile all have full paths.

This used to work on Linux and Solaris, but when I try 
it on Irix6.5  all I get in the dumpfile is some startup messages and;
'Fatal error: unable to open the base package'

If I try the same command on the commandline it works.

What am I doing wrong??
