We have had mixed reports. I think that on Intel chips with release
drivers (e.g. for graphics and printers) there have been no reports of
problems (and a few of success). We have heard of problems on one Athlon
(AMD K7) and with one beta graphics card driver on PIII.
I am fairly sure Guido now tries binaries on W2K. We don't normally have
it available as it will not work with our Unix-based authentication
(whereas NT4 and W98 via third-party addons will). My computing officers
have decided to stay with NT4 for AY 2000-1.
