[R] Help with glm object ellipses.

Dear R-help users:
I am in the work of porting (still) the ellipse library from S (to
plot joint confidence regions from the parameters of a fit) to R and I
have encountered a significant difference between the ellipses generated
for glm objects in R and S -they have the same shape but less area than in
S+. After I spent sometime, it seems that is something I am not able to
handle, given my (very) reduced knowledge in this area therefore I would
like to ask for some kind help to solve this.
In fact glm ellipses are the last thing I need to solve in order
to submit the library to CRAN. Most of the other functions for
correlation matrix (plotcorr) lm (ellipse.lm) and nls (ellipse.nls,
ellipse.profile, pairs.profile) objects have already been ported.
For anybody that would be interested in investing some time on
this, I prevent that the original S code is from Duncan Murdoch and for
the moment will be published with a only non-commertial use license
(unless I can convince him to GPL the library and allow me to continue
developing it). I also do not have a copy of S+.
with my best regards,
IOsu
