[R] Segmentation fault (solved)

Hello,

the problem with different expression() - formula crashing R was
*indeed* not a problem of SuSE Linux and only partly a R problem (it
should give an error message, not a segmentation error).

The problem was an incorrect configuration of XWIN32 (X server running
on WinNT). Now, R runs without problems on the Linux machine (with large
memory) and also on the remote X-Terminal ;-)
