[R] Memory

Dear,

 I am working with a lot of observations (18000) and i need to do sme
regressions but i have pb of memory : following message

*******************************
heap memory (6144 Kb) exhausted [needed 143 Kb more]
       See "help(Memory)" on how to increase the heap size.
*******************************

Can any one help me.
