[R] R or Splus?

We haven't heard of problems of that magnitude lately. In general, we
try to fix problems as soon as they can be identified, but you're not
giving us much to go on with that kind of report.

- which version of R?
- which operating system? 
- which commands are you trying to run?
- what are the error messages and other symptoms of misbehavior?
