[R] Rterm and Windows 2000

While I've been running R 1.1.0 under Windows 2000 on a Dell Latitude with
128 MB RAM and a Pentium III processor via the RGUI with no problems, the RTERM
doesn't work. I open it and I can't type any commands in the window...I type
but there is no response. I get a prompt but that's it.
