You should not use Yast to upgrade or install any rpm-packages who are
NOT maintained by SuSE... Yast can´t check the dependencies (don´t know
why). Yast only checks correctly the dependencies for all packages in
one distribution, e.g. with Yast on SuSE 6.3 you can´t upgrade any rpm
package using the 6.4 cds... Use rpm on the command line (e.g. rpm -Uhv
<package>), even if you want to install or upgrdade any package you´ve
found in the web.
