Functions are divided up into packages, which can be loaded with
library(packagename)
So to get the modern regression functions in the "modreg" package type
library(modreg)
Another note: search() is more generally informative than
searchpaths(). It tells you what packages are loaded; searchpaths() tells
you where they were loaded from, which is important mostly for
programmers.
