[R] Problem with SuSE 6.4 RPMS

Dear R-Helpers,

I'm just trying to install R-1.1.0 on a SuSE 6.4 System (Pentium II, 64MB Ram).
Well, installing the RPM works fine but when I try to start R it fails with the
message "Can't find library libblas.so.2" Can anybody tell me in which package
this file should be so I may get it from the distribution?

I tried to compile R-1.1.0 as well but that crashed with an error in platform.c:
platform.c:299: 'DIR' undeclared
platform.c:300: parse error before 'struct'...

Any ideas or suggestions (I would prefer an easy way for elemnating the RPM
problem...)
