[R] R-0.65.0 on mips-sgi-irix6.5: Error code 1 (bu21)

I tried both:

<140>:R-0.65.0: /usr/local/egcs/bin/gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/egcs/lib/gcc-lib/mips-sgi-irix6.2/egcs-2.91.66/specs
gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314 (egcs-1.1.2 release)

<141>:R-0.65.0: gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/mips-sgi-irix6.2/2.8.1/specs
gcc version 2.8.1


But, as Peter Dalgaard said that the OS got upgraded but not 
the gcc, I just contacted our system administrator...
