[R] unresolved symbols in growth and repeated libraries

Thanks for swift reply. Changing the line with  $(SHLIBLD) to 

$(SHLIBLD) $(SHLIBLDFLAGS) -o $@ $(OBJS) $(FLIBS) 

in both growth/src/Makefile and repeated/src/Makefile
got rid of the problem.
