I am sure that John Lennon would be greatly amused by such devotion to his
image but could these functions be used for set manipulation?  One thing
for which I have sometimes ended up writing arrays of integers!!!  (I
suppose arrays of logicals may be more efficient).

Actually a set class would be very useful, don't y'think?  With associated
operations?
