Yes, or arguments to same to be precise:

406                 errorcall(call,"invalid \"log=%s\" specification",*p);
(gdb) p p
$1 = 0x40781a28 "Y"
(gdb) p *p
$2 = 89 'Y'

I.e., one needs 'p', not '*p' in there. Thanks. Will fix.
