When I first sent the help request to the list, I didn't expect to get
nearly as much help. I was rather floored by the response, and wanted to
convey my appreciation.

I wanted to thank Jesús María Frías Celayeta and Chris Russell for a
transcript and walking me through several steps to getting my data and
the leaps library playing nicely together. I also wanted to thank Dr.
Ripley for the pointer to the Rnotes.ps file as well as to Venables and
Ripley.

As a consequence, I now have a fairly long annotated text file
containing the session transcript showing the procedure, the results as
well as some pitfalls. If there is a specific "R cookbook" document, I
would be pleased to submit it, or give it to anyone wanting it.

Many thanks for all your hard work in building and supporting such a
comprehensive statistical and graphing program!

Pete
