We did think about that, but R.org is registered to IANA (Internet
Assigned Numbers Authority) as a reserved domain. (As is apparently
any single-character .org except x.org and a.org). It isn't getting
used for anything, but we didn't want to get into negotiations with
the IANA to get them to relinquish control.
