[R] seg fault: some more comments

Ah, I think that is the point: you were using 0.63.1 and we were using
0.63.2 or 0.63.3.  You may find that loess uses less memory in 0.63.3
as I have fixed a bug that unnecessarily allocated quite a large array.
(But this is additional memory, not R-managed memory.)

Try it again with 0.63.3 (and with something as recent as loess in R, you
do want to keep up to date).
