That's a very kind recommendation and thanks.  

Actually I doubt Brian Ripley, Bill Venables or even 
Julius Springer himself can be more precise at this 
stage.  There was a very minor late change (at 
Springer's request, so it had nothing to do with
content, only form) which has probably set back the
production process by a short time.  If it comes out
in June it will be in late June and I think July is
now more likely.  Amazon.com still has June 1999 as
the date, though, and are accepting orders.
