[R] Grid

[Alessandro Magni]

Many thanks to anybody that helped me (Martin, Paul, Terry): I was badly
in need,
and the axis() method has been the best one.
It is tricky, anyway. Pity the plot/grid commands are not "intelligent"
enough to do the work
themselves...
