[R] Why R does not appear on GNU pages

Partly this is just lazyiness, and partly it is because I was hoping
for a more "complete" product.  I wrote to Richard Stallman about
18 months ago and told him about R, but I didn't get around to giving
him a page about R.

It would probably be a good idea to publically become part of FSF now.
If you would like to write a page and mail it to this list to get
comments this would be very welcome.  It really does only need to
be one page.
