[R] R --gnome segfaults on RH 6.0 with R-0.65.0

Didn't happen for me. Almost identical setup, except that I had a
libglade straight from 

ftp://ftp.daa.com.au/pub/james/gnome/

there's a 0.4 version of libglade as of last Wednesday. 

(This is a pretty rapidly moving target - because GNOME is - and the
whole thing is experimental, but bug reports are still welcome.)
