Not likely, since 0.6*3*.0 is being released today....

I don't recall anyone doing SuSE packages. Would be out of date for
the above reason anyway...

R should be very easy to compile from scatch on most Linux systems,
though. (I seem to recall a caveat with SuSE and the readline library,
but someone here can probably help you out)
