I don't know what platform you are using (Windows?) I think Word for Mac
or Windows can handle an inserted postscript figure.

Ghostview is available for unix )and windows and Mac I think).

With Ghostview, there is no need for a postscript printer.  It works
wonderfully.

I suggest you get a word processor that lets you insert a postscript
figure. (I personally went from Mac to Linux on Intel and I use LyX)
