That fixed one problem :)

typing "make" ran the makefile for some time ok until the line

windres -i wincons.rc ...etc

when a lot of rapid scrolling occurred on the screen and which finished
with the error

C:\MINGW32\BIN\WINDRES.EXE: no resources
make.exe: *** [res.o] Error 1
[exited with 2]

(? does this mean that I am out of memory, or is there anything else I
can do)



If it is not possible to fix the above, is it still possible to install
other packages ?
