I cannot reproduce this problem ... the man pages are built without
problems on my system (Debian Linux, R 0.62 snapshot). On which type
of computer is you R snapshot installed?

You mean a matrix containing only the lower triangle etc.?

Should be fairly easy tho integrate mahalanobis into dist ... but we
currently have a feature freeze until 0.62 is released. I'll put it
onto my todo list for 0.63.
