R-beta: Memory requirement in Win NT

The windows versions are very experimental at this point. All development
takes place in Unix and we don't know much about M$.
The memory problems are know and are being worked on. There will
be improvement come 1.0.
If you are reading numerical-only data try using scan() rather than
read.table(). read.table() is implemented in a very memory hungry
fashion.
In the mean-time I guess we'll have to refund your money :-)
