R-beta: edit figs with xfig?

I just wanted to thank everyone again.

I got idraw and pstoedit installed.

idraw is a lot like MacDraw so I am happy now.

The combination works just as I wanted:
create fig with R
pstoedit -f idraw fig.ps fig.idraw
edit fig with idraw

Note the fig is not just rendered as a bitmap, but you can select objects
and edit (e.g. select text and change font size).
