R-beta: edit figs with xfig?

As an Linux and TeX-user Ipe-5.0 (http://www.cs.ust.hk/~otfried or
ftp://ftp.cs.ruu.nl/pub/mirror/ipe) serves me very well. It can reimport
postscript files via an ghostscript script and allows to use all
the LaTeX formatting capabilities.
