R-beta: Linux Installation Problem

In main/dotcode.c, the line

  typedef int (*FUNC)();

was nested in some conditionals, which didn't fit my Linux Redhat 1.2.13
either.  Folks more knowledgeable than myself may give us a better answer,
but I just moved the typedef up above all the

  #ifdef ...

lines, and it has been working very nicely.  Thanks to all for R!
