[Rd] Bug #17807 fixed but not mentioned

Dear all,

bug #17807 has been fixed by Tomas Kalibera (RIP), I think in R 4.6.0
(as mentioned in private correspondence with me) but I cannot find any
mention of it. I do not know if it qualifies for a NEWS item, in case
here is the commit
