I mistakenly sent this to r-devel-request using r-project.org, apologies for spamming the list.


In WRE, section 6.23.7 Working with attributes, 1st paragraph, last
sentence, the word "can" is not right:

These functions ensure can that certain consistency requirements are
maintained, such as setting the object bit according to whether a class
attribute is present.

The correct is to remove it:

These functions ensure that certain consistency requirements are
maintained, such as setting the object bit according to whether a class
attribute is present.
