Yes, we have had a horrible NAS (Networked File system / storage)  failure which needed both hardware replacements and (micro?) code fixes..
pretty embarrassing for the NAS producer and its maintenance contract...

Hi maintainers,

When I try to download the tarball of the daily snapshot from
https://stat.ethz.ch/R/daily, I get a

   '403 Forbidden'
   'You don't have permission to access this resource'.

It seems that the permissions were accidentally tightened?
