Yes, indeed.  Thank you, Ulrike, belatedly.

I've committed a corresponding change to R-devel yesterday, svn r 75503,
and will port that to   "R 3.6.0 patched" (so it will make it into R 3.6.1
and all newer versions) in a day or so.
