Well, I was hoping Luke was meaning discussions about computing on the
language more generally...

Searching for recursive objects (with an admittedly quick skimming on
titles), didn't seem to find anything relevant, except that it was me
who suggested the wording "Most types of objects are regarded as
recursive, except for atomic vector types, ‘NULL’ and symbols (as
given by ‘as.name’)"
