To the R-intro doc team:

 I'd like to suggest pointing out the sweep() function, probably somewhere in
the section dealing with indexing.  Coming from Mathematica and Matlab, I'm used
to using constructs like All or :. respectively, on the l.h.s. of matrix/vector
assignments to implicitly iterate ["sweep" :-)] across the rows or columns of a
r.h.s. matrix.
