I was probably wrong here -- a few other papckages I'm involved with required
g++-3.2 due to heavier C++ usage. This should not be an issue here.

It failed when building the standalone math library due to NA_INTEGER
being undefined. As these tarballs are clearly labelled development,
I don't have a problem with that at all.
