[Rd] some problems with r 1.5.0 on win2k

On all my machines its makes Rpwd.exe, and then spawns a separate make
which proceeds.  It should not fail.

That's an incorrect warning from makeinfo 4.1.

That has worked for me, but I took that browser off as it was too flaky.
