[Rd] X11(colortype="true") does not give a truecolor visual (PR#1388)

As another data point: The Sun workstation that I had a couple of years
ago had this setup as well, and I'm fairly sure that the defaults hadn't
been overridden, but I seem to remember that I raised this issue back then
and no-one else reported a similar problem.
