[Rd] 1.4.1 release date

It's generally announced on developer.r-project.org, but currently
that only says that a date hasn't been set.

It's "under consideration"... The release manager (i.e. me) has a book
deadline on Feb. 1, so wants to keep his nose down, but on the other
hand he also wants to be able to refer to a bugfixed version, so a
release towards the end of January is definitely possible. I should
have a better estimate around the weekend.

At any rate, now is a good time for people to try out their old code
and see if they can scare up some new bugs. Or maybe even debug and
file patches for things already reported.
