I wanted to make a plot with axis y labeled as "Exchange Rate (in US ¢)". Just
as follows:

 ylab="Exchange Rate (US¢)",main="(e) Canada-US Dollar Exchange Rate")

R stops after the word "US" and the following error message appears:
