[Rd] persp() crashes with numeric values for [x,y,z]lab (PR#1431)

Using a numeric value for the arguments xlab, ylab or zlab in persp()
crashes R.
Example:

  persp(1:2, 1:2, matrix(1:4, 2), xlab=1)

Well, it is documented that "These must the character strings".
BTW: I think "the" should be changed to "be" in this sentence.

Nevertheless the worst case could be caught, however, e.g. by coercing
numeric to character.
