It just so happens that updating was late this one time!  (R people are
volunteers, and not available all day every day.  In particular, Fritz
Leisch who does the bulk of the work on the web sites is in Australia
or in transit.)

I think you mean the main page of cran.r-project.org, which is linked
off www.r-project.org.
