Looks as though I may be using some wrong version of a library. I get
the same problem on today's build, and on one I built on Dec 5, but
not in Brian's version of today's build.
Since I've rsync'd all of the R files, it's probably one of the gcc
libs that is wrong. What version should I be using? How do I find
out what version I've got?
