This is an update to bug report 548.
The bug had two parts on my system:
1) the gnome-interface puts the "*" mark in the wrong place. It could be
superscript
or something else. From the Docs the gnome-interface claimed just to re-display
the
base R but it is obviously doing something more and breaking the display.
1) the X11() interface. I can no longer reproduce the bug. Yesterday, the mark
was
off everytime by a pixel today it is fine.
I have contacted the person in charge of the gnome-Interface port so this should
be
considered a bug of that unless I can start reproducing the X11() offset.
Thanks,
adrian.
