Hi,
Kudos to all who've worked on getting 1.1 out. It installs cleanly on
Linux and Sun. But AIX, of course, is a problem...
When linking shared libs, the symbols from libc.a are not found. I
apologize for not investigating this further at the moment - they
may not be properly or not all exported from R.bin.
Fix: I've added ' -lc' to SHLIBLDFLAGS in Makeconf and etc/Makeconf in
my build directory after running configure. Then compilation proceeds
without problems.
(Alternatively, you could use cc instead of ld to link.)
Regards,
-tom
P.S. Any reason the status field is empty? It is stable, right? ;-)
